"Bonding, Behavior, and Barn Chores" - Advanced Learning for Returning Campers
The barn is always buzzing with activity! Our Barn Bees program welcomes kids who want to continue their education and learn more about being around horses through advanced program learning.
What Are Barn Bees?
Barn Bees is designed for campers who want to continue taking part in their equine education and want more of the ranch experience. This program focuses on the three B’s:
Bonding with horses and animals
Behavior understanding and learning
Barn Chores and daily animal care
What You'll Learn

Daily Animal Care
- Day-to-day care of all our animals
- Learning how to halter horses
- Feeding routines and animal nutrition
- Grooming techniques and animal maintenance

Barn Responsibilities
- Mucking stalls and cleaning the barn
- Understanding that upkeep is part of caring for animals
- Learning the daily rhythm of ranch life

Building Relationships
- Bonding with horses and animals takes time and familiarity
- Spending time around them regularly is key to starting the bonding process
- Developing deeper connections through consistent interaction
